Where do our goods come from?
Our box is Lost Packages: brand new products from parcels that never reached the person they were meant for. This is where they come from.
Lost Packages: parcels that never arrived
Every year, millions of parcels ordered online go missing across Europe. A label that comes loose in the sorting machine. An address with a typo. A collection point where nobody ever turns up.
And then what? The buyer gets their money back from the shop. The parcel stays put with the carrier (Amazon, DPD, FedEx, DHL, PostNL and others): no sender, no recipient, nobody left with a claim to it. After the statutory storage period a consignment like that often went straight to destruction. Made, packed, driven across half of Europe, and then thrown away because a sticker came off.
That stops with us
We buy those consignments from carriers and handling agents and divide them by the kilo across our Lost Packages boxes. What has already been made and shipped does not need destroying. It simply gets a different recipient.
Every package goes into its own Unboxly mystery bag, so nothing is loose in the box and you unbox bag by bag at the table. We do not promise anything we cannot deliver, and frankly the surprise is exactly what makes the box fun. Gadgets? Jewellery? Something for the kitchen? Tools? Every box that opens is a fresh treasure hunt.
What Lost Packages is not
- Not returns from online shops.
- Not leftover stock or clearance.
- Not gift items bought in specially.
- It is brand new products in shipments that were never delivered to the person they were meant for.
What never goes in
We keep out whatever does not belong in a box: food, medicines, pet food, hazardous substances and anything age-restricted to 18 and over.
And then it reaches you fast
We ship to all EU countries, and shipping is free on every order. Order on a working day before 3 PM and your box goes out that same day, with live tracking all the way to your doormat.
